Umbriel Sculpted by Kylee Parks

Kylee Parks knocked it out of the park with this stunning ethereal foal. I strive to create realistic fantasy pieces that take aspects and elements from real life and apply them to imaginative other worlds. Hand painted in glowing pastels and acrylics, this celestial foal both shimmers and shifts depending on light. I had to nickname him Blue Moon, since he is just such a rare beauty and only once in a blue moon does a piece like this come up. It may be hard to capture in pictures, but so many colors make up this sky inspired coat, I hope you can glean some of the more subtle shades used. A smattering of white hairs accentuates the beautiful fluffy aspects of this sculpture, and it is the proverbial icing on the mooncake for the piece.

Blue Moon is fully removable from his lunar base. I found what I think is the easter egg: I fitted the designs on the base with Swarovski crystals which make the base sparkle and shine from every angle. To tie it all in, he has a teeny tiny crystal on the top of his horn. His base is backed in velvet to protect your shelves. Put him all together and you have an unforgettable piece of art that is sure to please you from every sparkly angle. I really took my time on him to create him in fully glory for you.

Umbriel is a limited-edition resin of 50 pieces, and is not available unpainted, so this your opportunity to grab him if you missed out. If you have an unpainted one, but want this one, I will consider a partial trade for your unpainted version.

Umbriel is available via the offer system.
